#281 - Meme and some other stuff.
Feb. 9th, 2009 09:06 amI got tagged on Facebook under my real name. Gotta fill this out about my senior year of high school. I'm not tagging anyone for this because this is mostly me just wanting something to post.
1. Did you date someone from your school?
Naw.
2. Did you marry someone from your high school?
No.
3. Did you car pool to school?
No, I drove, mostly.
4. What kind of car did you have?
I can't remember what year it was, but I think it was a '95 or a '97 gold Saturn.
5. It's Friday...where are you in high school?
Running late to my first class at 8:45am, which I think was AP World History with Mrs. Haskins (the Southern Mrs. Haskins, as we referred to her, since there was another Mrs. Haskins - her sister-in-law, I believe - who taught French).
6. It's Friday night...where are you now?
Downstairs in the family room, on the computer, talking with people and generally being geeky. Might even be whining in LJ about how much I hate school.
7. What kind of job did you have in high school?
I didn't have a job.
8. What kind of job do you do now?
lulz, still no job, because I r lazeh.
10. Were you a party animal?
Nope.
12. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir?
Nope (although sophomore year I was keyboards in the orchestra pit for the spring musical).
13. Were you a nerd?
Ya, because 1) I was in theater and 2) I had a shitload of AP classes. (Not as much as this one girl, though, who seriously had all AP classes senior year except for her religion class. Wtffff. The Gods bless her soul.)
14. Did you get suspended or expelled?
Nope, though I got threatened with detention a few times for swearing.
15. Can you sing the fight song?
Uh... "We are the Queen of Peace Pride community..." ...something something something... "...now hear our mighty ROAR!"
16. Who was/were your favorite teacher(s)?
Ms. Prendergast - homeroom (freshman and junior years), English II (sophomore year), religion (freshman year)
Ms. Wille - AP Language (senior year)
Mrs. Haskins - AP World History (senior year)
Mrs. Haskins - French I (junior year)
Mrs. Jancys - French II (senior year)
Mrs. Mares - dean of the class of '05
AMG - theater/media director
...I had a lot of teachers I liked at Peace. XD Too bad most of them have left already. Maybe I'll try finding them on Facebook.
17. Where did you sit during lunch?
At a table near the windows in the cafeteria, with friends.
18. What was your school's full name?
Queen of Peace.
20. What was your school mascot?
A pride of lions.
21. If you could go back and do it again, would you?
Only if that meant I could get all my favorite teachers back. And if we got Ms. Nolan back. And even then it's iffy because, uh, school. o_o;;
22. Did you have fun at Prom?
Enough so.
23. Do you talk to the person you went to Prom with?
No.
24. Are you planning on going to your next reunion?
That depends if I can come back in a blaze of glory. I don't know, maybe?
25. Do you still talk to people from school?
Hi,

Also, crossing fingers, but I might be able to perform "Sphinx" in time for my 2/21 performance at Borders! Composed nearly all of it Saturday night and then part of Sunday, and now just need to practice some of the transition parts. But for the most part, it's done.
