reileenI've decided to work on a song. It is tentatively called "Mirror (Ixchel's Song)". It is shitty as fuck at the moment, but I hope to complete it or some version of it eventually. Because, though I barely knew this girl, I feel as though she deserves some sort of tribute.
For so long, my art and my writing have let me escape to worlds that could never be. Now, it's my songs that bring me back to the world that is - the world I so often leave behind.
