Alternatively known as "The Legend of Zelda: The Leading Cause of Carpal Tunnel For the Next 2 Years."
Story: Not long after the events of Wind Waker, Link and Tetra are merrily sailing along when all of a sudden this ghost ship pops up in front of them. Curious kitty Tetra hops onto the ship, but promptly gets kidnapped by something or other. Link heroically stumbles after her, but misses and plops into the sea. He wakes up on a beach, withNavi's slightly nicer twin a fairy named Ciela hovering over him, trying to get him to wake up. From there, the game begins...
How far I got: Currently on the Isle of Frost.
Thotz: WHHHHYYYY IS EVERY DAMN THING CONTROLLED WITH THE STYLUS ARGH. Okay, I must admit that using the stylus increases the accuracy of tossing/firing objects (such as bombs) and that drawing out one's course on the sea map is pretty nifty. But having to use the stylus to move Link in the towns and dungeons? Owwwwww.
Speaking of the dungeons, I HATE THE FUCKING TEMPLE OF THE OCEAN KING ARGH. I always hate any part of a game that requires you to sneak around things. It annoys me to irrational levels, and Phantom Hourglass takes it to new heights because 1) there's a time limit and 2) if you get caught by the Phantoms, you lose a big ol' chunk of time. So. Much. Hate.
Graphics are meh to me. I wasn't overly fond of Wind Waker's style of graphics, but at least on the Gamecube the edges were smooth. I guess that's just the limitation of the DS and all that jazz.
Ciela's kinda boring as a character. Linebeck's more interesting, but only marginally so. Zauz looks like Ganondorf, trufax.
Now should I go to sleep now, or continue playing...?
